🔒 INERATEC Secure File Sharing – Terms and Conditions - Last updated: July 28, 2025
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of INERATEC’s secure file sharing platform ("the Platform") by employees, contractors, and authorized external partners (“Users”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Authorized Use: The Platform is intended solely for business-related file exchange between INERATEC and authorized parties. Only individuals with explicit access permissions may use the Platform. Users must use their assigned credentials and must not share them with others.
2. Confidentiality and Data Protection: All files shared via the Platform are considered confidential, unless explicitly marked otherwise. Users must comply with all applicable company policies, contractual confidentiality obligations and EU data protection directives and regulations governing privacy and data protection (e.g. GDPR) when accessing or sharing information. It is strictly forbidden to distribute, forward, or copy any file to unauthorized recipients.
3. Security and Integrity: The Platform implements end-to-end encryption, multi-factor authentication, and secure session management. Users must not attempt to bypass security controls or introduce malware, spyware, or other malicious code. Although reasonable measures are taken to maintain the security and integrity of the Platform, INERATEC does not guarantee that the Platform will be free from unauthorized access, data breaches, or other security vulnerabilities. In case of suspected misuse or breach, users are required to report immediately to it@ineratec.de.
4. File Types and Usage Restrictions: Users must not upload: Executable files (.exe, .bat, etc.),Files containing personal data without explicit approval, files exceeding designated size limits unless otherwise agreed, files are subject to automated antivirus scanning and may be quarantined or removed if suspicious content is detected.
5. Retention and Deletion: Files shared via the Platform are retained for a maximum of 30 days, unless otherwise agreed. Users are responsible for ensuring that important files are archived or downloaded before expiry. INERATEC reserves the right to delete files or accounts without prior notice in cases of policy violation or security risk.
6. Audit and Monitoring: INERATEC reserves the right to log and monitor all file transfer activity for security, compliance, and operational purposes. Logs may be reviewed in the context of: Security investigations, Legal obligations, Internal audits
7. Liability Disclaimer: INERATEC provides the Platform “as is” and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. INERATEC is not liable for data loss due to: User error, Expired links, Third-party misuse, Force majeure events. INERATEC shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or reliance on, data obtained through this Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of business, data inaccuracies, or unauthorized disclosure of confidential information. 8. Amendments: These Terms may be updated at any time. Changes will be published on the login page of the Platform or communicated via email. Continued use after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
